Ulvedahl explores autofiction by crossing the lines between erotica, sexuality and destructivity. She has a background in lingustics, and her primary media is film, performance and music.

Lise will be showing an installation centering her short film, "Letters to Céline"; A woman gets an IUD but experiences unexpected pain and mental instability. She decides to have it removed, but is left vulnerable when her mother figure and idol, Céline Dion, falls ill and cannot perform. This sends her into a psychosis where she believes something incredible is happening to her body. By weaving elements of fiction and documentary together as an auto fictional short film, "Letters to Celine" provides a unique perspective on the intersection of maternal issues, queer identity, and the power of cultural icons and natural symbols to shape our understanding of ourselves and the world around us.
